A Loving Home Needed for a Dog with End-Stage Cancer: Previously Neglected Outdoors.

A bunch of kind-hearted volunteers at a pet sanctuary are currently on the hunt for a loving family to take in a senior pooch. Sadly, the precious dog only has a few days left to live and is in desperate need of a forever home.

Joyanna, a dog who has never experienced love, is now facing a life-threatening illness called terminal cancer. She was abandoned by her owners due to a mammary tumor that has grown to the size of a volleyball and has spread to her lungs.

The SPCA of Wake County is currently on the lookout for a loving and caring family to provide a home for Joyanna in her last days. According to a post on their Facebook page, Joyanna has been living outside her entire life and hasn’t received much affection.

The SPCA of Wake County shared that they are uncertain about the remaining time of a certain animal, whether it’s only a matter of days or weeks or even more. Nevertheless, they firmly believe that she doesn’t deserve to spend her last moments inside a shelter.

The SPCA mentioned that it is only fitting for the furry friend to spend her days in a cozy abode filled with the affection of a caring family. A place where she can be cuddled, pampered and feel secure. According to volunteers, the adorable pet is overflowing with love and gratefulness for every bit of attention she receives.

Joyanna has been evaluated by two vets and they have decided that the best course of action for her is to maximize her happiness during the remainder of her life. The affectionate pup now spends her days sleeping on a cozy bed and relishing every opportunity for snuggles.

Don’t be deceived by her age, Joyanna is full of energy and always ready to play. She loves spending time outdoors and rolling around in the grass. The search is currently on for a unique family or person who can provide Joyanna with a loving home for the remainder of her life. Giving a loving home to Joyanna would be an ultimate gesture of kindness in her final days.

I am hoping that someone will open their heart and home to this adorable dog in her last days. If you are considering adopting her despite her terminal cancer diagnosis, it is crucial to be emotionally prepared for what lies ahead. Providing palliative care, such as managing her pain and taking her for regular veterinary check-ups, will be necessary to ensure her comfort and well-being. Showing her love and care during this time can make a significant difference in the quality of her life.

I am appealing to those who have the capacity to give this dog the compassion and care that she deserves. This plea should serve as a reminder of how we can positively impact the lives of animals, especially those in need of love, comfort, and understanding during their final moments.

It is disheartening that Joyanna did not receive the love and care she deserved and was not taken care of when she got sick. Let us all hope and pray that she finds the love and joy she deserves soon. Please share this message to raise awareness.
