Mary Chromek, an animal rescuer at Foster Purrs, encountered a pregnant cat wandering alone in a cat colony. Although the cat did not appear to be feral, it was cautious around strangers and kept its distance from Mary. Despite Mary’s attempts to rescue the clever cat, it managed to outsmart her traps and avoided capture. However, the determined cat was eventually caught after Mary received a call from someone who had been feeding the cat. Sadly, no one came forward to claim the cat, so Mary took the pregnant feline under her care.

A pregnant stray was discovered outside and it turned out that she had already befriended the feeder. When the feeder came to help, the cat came over to her immediately for some affection. The kind-hearted feeder petted the cat beside the carrier and with the help of Mary, they managed to get the cat safely indoors.

When Mary decided to foster a cat, she brought home Calla Lilly who was expecting. Mary made sure that the cat had a comfortable space to relax in and settle down. As soon as Calla Lilly was inside, she seemed content and at ease. In fact, she was so happy that she loved to make her caretakers pet her by nudging their hands with her head. Mary ensured that Calla Lilly had everything she needed, including regular housekeeping services, unlimited food, and a cozy living environment.

After spending so much time outdoors, she finally found solace indoors and was overjoyed. Soon enough, she delivered seven robust kittens in the comfort of her room. Mary couldn’t help but express her concern about the feline being too protective, but to her surprise, she was more than willing to let Mary handle the newborns just hours after giving birth. Despite being a great mother, Mary shared that this would be her last litter as she has been continuously reproducing since she was capable of doing so. Now, she can finally enjoy her youth without worry.

Calla Lilly was fortunate enough to bring seven adorable kittens into this world within the safety and warmth of a caring household. The task of nourishing all seven of them proved to be quite challenging for the mother cat, but fortunately, she received some assistance to meet their growing needs. The smallest among the litter, Amaryllis, required additional feedings to help her catch up with her siblings. Meanwhile, Geranium, the largest of the bunch, seemed to have a particular fondness for his mother and would often wrap his arms around her for extra cuddles.
