The three cars in question were a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, a BMW M5 CS, and a Nissan GT-R Nismo. Obviously, these three cars do not rival each other and compete in very different segments but one thing they do have in common is staggering straight-line performance.

On paper, the Aventador SVJ should be the quickest. It sports a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 with 759 hp and 531 lb-ft (720 Nm) of torque. By comparison, the BMW M5’s twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 is good for 635 hp and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. Last but not least is the older Nissan GT-R Nismo with its 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 delivering 600 hp and 481 lb-ft (652 Nm).
