“Surviving the Devastating Panleuk Virus: Our Experience with Cat Milo’s Positive Fecal Test Results After Losing Two Beloved Cats”

cat

Following the loss of our beloved cats, Meddy and Petey, we received the results of a fecal test for Milo, which unfortunately tested positive for Panleuk. This virus is known for being extremely deadly and distressing. However, we recently welcomed some new furry additions into our home – Milo and Meddy – who are currently content and cozy. These babies were rescued from a shelter in Indiana by @thecatcade, who gave them the best possible chance at life. Unfortunately, one of the babies did not survive, and out of respect for him, we have chosen not to share his photo. We like to believe that he has been welcomed by our previous cat, Chester, at the rainbow bridge. As we foster these little ones, we are focusing on remembering the pure love we shared with our past pets and cherishing the time we had with them. Despite our grief, we still feel fortunate to have had such wonderful companions in our lives for so many years. ❤️ @hopeful_content

It brings me immense sadness to announce that darling Meddy has passed away in the wee hours of the morning. My heart is heavy with grief and I can’t help but wonder if there was anything more we could have done for her. However, deep down I know that we did everything within our power to save her. Despite her strong desire to live and her relentless fighting spirit, her frail body simply couldn’t hold on. But I’m grateful that in her final moments, I was able to reassure her that she was loved. It brings me some small comfort to know that this was the last thing she heard before departing this world. She has now joined her brother and Chester over the rainbow bridge. ❤️

Unfortunately, we received some bad news about Milo. The results of his fecal test came back positive for Panleuk, a virus that has proven to be fatal and horrifying. It’s highly likely that this is what caused the decline of our beloved cats Meddy and Petey. Our hearts are broken 💔 but we’re happy to report that Milo is currently doing well. He’s such a kind-hearted little boy, as you can see in the photo where he’s holding his sister. We’re determined to keep him healthy and strong. Keep fighting, Milo! @hopeful_content urged.

It’s time to celebrate! Milo has finally received his final panleuk test results, and they came back negative. As a survivor, he deserves all the applause. @hopeful_content expressed their pride in this amazing boy. 👏👏
